About Our Local Office

Right at Home Inc. is a senior home care and staffing company providing care since 1995. The Tampa and Brandon to Sun City Center area offices of Right at Home are locally owned and operated by Mimi Buderus.

Right at Home's mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Our goal within each caregiving experience is to help create a safe and secure atmosphere that focuses on maintaining the client's dignity and independence. This is done by providing assistance for a variety of life's daily activities including:

• Personal Care and hands-on assistance with all Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, transfers, feeding, incontinence care
• Medication set-up by nurse
• Bath or Medication Reminder visits
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Laundry
• Errands, shopping and transportation
• Standby Assistance with Bathing/Showering/Walking/Dressing

Our caregivers are carefully screened, trained, insured, bonded and supervised to ensure we provide our clients the highest quality care and service possible. To ensure the quality of care and the satisfaction of our clients, we conduct frequent scheduled and unscheduled supervisory visits and quality assurance surveys which the client and family or other responsible party participate in.

An additional key component of our services is ongoing communication between the Right at Home office staff and the client and family members. Many family members are extremely busy or don't live in the same town as their loved one. Communication is key to a better understanding of this part of the family's life journey together.

The Tampa area office is owned & operated by Mimi Buderus. Mimi comes from a successful business background including 20 years of Human Resources experience and being the primary caregiver for both of her parents as they aged.

Like many baby boomers, Mimi felt strongly that, at this stage in her life, she needed to be in a service oriented field where she can make a difference in people's lives. Due to her experiences with her parents, she feels passionate about high-quality, compassionate care for the elderly. While considering several business opportunities, she spoke with the people at Right at Home and realized that their values mirrored her own in this area and she chose them to partner with in this service to the Tampa community.

Whether it is for assistance after a stay in a hospital or rehab center, an aging parent who needs extra help or companionship to remain in their own home, or as a respite for the spouse or family member caring for a loved one, Right at Home can help.
